 (Town of Sullivan, NY – Dec. 2014) Sullivan Food Cupboard prepared and delivered more than 250 Christmas Baskets to residents in the Town of Sullivan Dec. 20. Volunteers from area churches, organizations and individuals sorted, packed and delivered the baskets.

Senior citizens baskets were prepared and delivered from the Town of Sullivan Parks and Recreation Building.  Family baskets were sorted, prepared and picked up at the North Chittenango Fire House.  

Each basket consisted of a full Christmas dinner, turkey, vegetables, bread, desert, potatoes and assorted canned food.  Most of the food was collected by area churches, Chittenango Central School and individuals.

Additional food bread, turkeys, hams) were purchased locally.

Families picking baskets up at North Chittenango Fire House also selected toys for their children.  Many of the toys were from Toys for Tots, Chittenango Central School and area churches.
