Knox Nutrition & Chiropractic Care donates to Local Food bank on Behalf of Patient
(Canastota, NY – Dec. 2014) Knox Nutrition & Chiropractic Care of Canastota recently ran a promotion for the month of November titled, “Give Thanks,” which allowed new and existing patients to earn raffle tickets towards the food bank of their choice. Every couple months Knox Nutrition & Chiropractic Care’s staff does a different promotion to give back to their community or give back to their patients, as a thank you.
In the past they have raised money for the Wanderer’s Rest Humane Association of Canastota, given a $50 gift card toward back to school purchases and had a school supply drive to benefit The Opportunity Shop of Canastota.
During the month of November, one of the ways to earn raffle tickets was to send a holiday greeting card to military servicemen and women. The staff along with patients wrote out more than 50 cards and sent them to the Red Cross to be distributed to those serving in the military.
The patient who won the promotion and was able to give the Verona Food Bank a $337 check in her name was Peggy Berndt of Verona. Peggy was overjoyed when she received the phone call and was able to choose a food bank dear to her.
