(Hamilton, NY – Jan. 2015) The Friends of the Library are hosting an art reception on Friday, Jan. 9 between 4:30 and 6 p.m. Photography by Rhona Hames is currently featured in the gallery space at the library, and will remain on display through the end of January. We hope you’ll stop by the reception to visit with Rhona and enjoy her artwork along with the refreshments.
Does Downton Abbey fill you with delight? Do you fervently look forward to each new season? If so, you are cordially invited to a Downton Abbey Party on Friday, Jan. 30 at 6:30 p.m. in the Library’s Community Room. Join other local fans of this popular television series in a social gathering featuring Downton desserts, friendly discussion, team trivia, and maybe even a demonstration of dances from the time period. Downton-era dress is welcome, although not required. For our planning purposes, please call or stop by the library to sign up for this event prior to January 23rd.
