This year’s CAE award winners come from 12 states: Alabama, California, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Wisconsin.

Chenango County Farm Bureau’s program, “Who do you call? Farm Bureau!” under Member Services is a program designed to help farmers and the public to be prepared for disasters and how to deal with a disaster if it should occur.

“This makes our fourteenth national award!”  “We were excited when we won our first national award then we were told that we had won more than any other County or perish in the country at six,” said Bradd Vickers, President of CCFB.

Rainy Collins-Vickers, Promotion and Education Chair for CCFB said, “We don’t set out to win an award; our objective is to create a program to help our members and the community.  If it’s a national winner then it will help more people and that’s a plus.”
