(March 12, 2015) Students from the Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Future Farmers of America (FFA) visited Albany to serve up pancakes and locally-produced maple syrup to the Assembly Agriculture Committee.
Assemblyman Bill Magee (D-Nelson), chairman of the Agriculture committee, is working to provide new opportunities to maple growers via the burgeoning birch and walnut syrup markets.
