(Hamilton, NY – May 25, 2015) Many thanks to all who participated in the Community Art Exhibit at the Library this spring. It was our pleasure to display the talents of nearly 40 local artists with such a wide variety of mediums—paintings, drawings, photographs, pottery, woven baskets, and more! We truly enjoy the variety of mediums and perspectives our community artists so readily share each year. We would also like to offer special acknowledgements to the Friends of the Library for hosting fabulous receptions for all of our art exhibits.

We are pleased to invite the community to a special reception celebrating the artwork of local artist Reyna Stagnaroon Thursday, June 4 from 4:30-6pm.  Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Library. Reyna is an artist, botanist, and musician.  Her exhibit titled “Bittersweet Ridge” is a collection of photographs and pen and ink drawings depicting the wonder and beauty found on her Madison County farm.  Reyna’s artwork will be on exhibit in the gallery space at the Hamilton Public Library from June 1-July 11.
