Music in the Mucklands
(Town of Lenox, NY – Aug. 2015) On Aug. 22 from 5 to 9 p.m. the GSC presents a variety of music by local musicians.
The Lightkeepers, Dove Creek and Stoop Kids will kick off the benefit for the GSC with entertainment.
A suggested donation of $5 per person will be appreciated. Food will be available.
Bring your lawn chair or dance the evening away.
Fall Migration Festival at the GSC
The GSC celebrates its 14th annual Fall Migration Festival featuring artists, crafters and all types of vendors from flea market items to antiques. This event is happening on Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Wildlife rehabilitator Cindy Page of Manlius presentes her “Birds of Prey” live bird shows at noon and 3 p.m.
There will be environmental displays, live animals, a Bob White “Quail Watch,” migration rides to the Anne V. Pickard overlook and a children’s nature area.
The GSC’s camera club – Swamp Snappers – will be displaying and selling their photos.
Two barbershop quartets – “Nights of the Mohawk” and “Harmony Katz” will be entertaining from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Bluegrass music by “Genesee Ted” will be played from noon to 3 p.m.
A chicken barbecue will be served starting at 11 a.m. until gone.
