Submitted by Chris Rossi, Town of Hamilton Comprehensive Plan Committee

(Town of Hamilton, NY – Sept. 2015) The Town of Hamilton’s Comprehensive Plan Committee is conducting a Public Hearing on Saturday Sept. 26 at 9:30 a.m. at the Poolville Community Center to take public comments on the revised Comprehensive Plan. The hearing follows three informational meetings held in Earlville, Hamilton, and Hubbardsville, where residents gathered to find out more about the draft revised Comprehensive Plan.
The revised plan addresses issues that are important to our community today, and its goals are updated to reflect the needs and views of residents in response to emerging trends. The plan is not a law, but is meant to guide Town government in future decision-making.
Thank you to those who have participated in the process of revising the Comprehensive Plan – completing the survey, and attending the visioning workshop and focus groups as well as the recent informational meetings. It is your input that forms the heart of the draft revised plan. We look forward to hearing your comments at the meeting on the 26th, or in writing to the Hamilton Town Office before Oct. 2.
For more information, or to obtain a copy of the entire draft revised plan, call the Hamilton Town Office at (315) 824-3380, or visit the Town website at

Copies of the plan are also available for review at the Hamilton Public Library and Earlville Free Library.
