(Cazenovia, NY – Sept. 2015) Every Monday beginning Oct. 5 children ages 5 to 7 will celebrate the joy of reading with Pat Hill and Jenna Wright from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Cazenovia Public Library Community Room.
Join in the fun and travel through time and space while experiencing the world through the lens of Mary Pope Osborne’s Magic Tree House series.
“Mary Pope Osborne provides nicely paced excitement for young readers, and there’s just enough information mixed in so that children will take away some historical fact along with a sense of accomplishment at having completed a chapter book.” (Children’s Literature)
A dynamic group discussion will follow each read-aloud session along with the fun of hands-on, inquiry-based activities.
The “Kids Book Club” is geared toward home-schooled children but is open to all, and, as always, is free and open to the public.
