(Canastota, NY – Sept. 2015) The 2015 Canastota Wall of Distinction Inductees were announced at this year’s Canastota Alumni Banquet in June. They are Mary Borgognoni Hoover, Class of 1979; Dr. Antonio M. Eppolito, Class of 1960; John A. Romagnoli, Class of 1946 (Posthumously); Tim Tyler, Class of 1994 (Posthumously).
Nominees represent Canastota Central School graduates who have made outstanding contribution in areas of, but not limited to, profession, athletics, community service, business, religion and arts.
The Wall of Distinction is intended to serve as a vision and source of pride for the community and student body. Inductees must be out of school for at least 10 years.
The Wall of Distinction Banquet will be held at the Rusty Rail Saturday Oct. 17.
Social hour begins at 6 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m.
Tickets sell for $25 and are available by contacting Joyce Gustin, (315-762-9144) no later than Monday, Oct. 12.
The Wall of Distinction Banquet is held on the third Saturday in October every year.
