Americana Poetry Reader begins evening

(Madison, NY – Nov. 2015) The Town of Madison Historical Society invites the public to hear Jack Giedraitis read and recite Americana poetry at the Madison Historical Society’s building, 3606 South St. in Madison on Monday, Nov. 16 at 7:30 p.m. Some poems are original and some are classic, but all are American poetry.

Jack is from North Brookfield and is president of the Town of Brookfield Historical Society. Many of his poems were recited at the Madison County Fair, proving to be a popular attraction.

Also speaking on a new proposal for the school are Perry Dewey, Madison Central School Superintendent and Jonah Snyder, President of the MCS Board. They will begin their presentation at 7 p.m. This is for public information for a vote coming up in December.

The Speaker Program is hosted by the Town of Madison Historical Society. This is our last program for the year. It is free to the public but the society welcomes donations.

Refreshments will be served after the presentations.

Please call 315-893-7910 for more information or directions.
