Students Named to President’s List
(Jan. 2016) The State University of New York at Potsdam recently named 908 students to the President’s List, in recognition of their academic excellence in the Fall 2015 semester. The SUNY Potsdam students were honored for earning top marks by President Kristin G. Esterberg.

SUNY Potsdam Names Area Students to Dean’s List
The State University of New York at Potsdam recently named 375 students who excelled academically in the Fall 2015 semester to the College’s Dean’s List.
The students included:
Brittany Geiler of Chittenango who is majoring in Biochemistry
Jacqueline Marris of Oriskany Falls who is majoring in Psychology
Luke Weisbrod of Canastota who is majoring in Business Administration
To achieve the honor of being on the Dean’s List, each student must have satisfactorily completed 12 numerically-graded semester hours, with a grade point average of between 3.25 and 3.49 in the given semester.
126 Students Named to Fall 2015 Provost’s List
A total of 126 SUNY Oneonta students earned Provost’s List honors for the Fall 2015 semester. To qualify for the Provost’s List, a student must earn a perfect 4.0 grade-point average while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

Gysin Named to Provost’s List
Sakura Gysin a resident of Sherburne was among 220 students from Genesee Community College named to the new Provost’s List for the Fall 2015 semester. The Provost’s List was created to recognize part-time students who have earned a grade point average of 3.75 (roughly equivalent to an A) or better.
Spooner Added to Dean’s List
Students at Lehigh University attained Dean’s List in Fall 2015. This status is granted to students who earned a scholastic average of 3.6 or better while carrying at least 12 hours of regularly graded courses.
Sean Spooner of Oneida was named to the Dean’s List at Lehigh University in the fall 2015 semester.
