CEO of United Way of the Valley & Greater Utica Area Accepted into Exclusive Program

Brenda Episcopo, CEO of United Way of the Valley and Greater Utica Area has been accepted into the United Way Worldwide Executive Leadership Development Program for 2016.

UWELDP was designed as an opportunity for United Way CEOs to learn from industry experts and thought leaders, while strengthening their personal leadership toward collective community action.

This is a transformational program that provides exclusive access to some of the most prestigious leadership development institutions in the world such as Center for Creative Leadership, Harvard Business School and Deloitte While United Way of the Valley & Greater Utica Area is an independent non-profit organization, its membership to United Way Worldwide provides exclusive opportunities and resources that help us better serve our local community.

The 12-month Executive Leadership Development Program is tailored to the critical challenges facing United Ways, the network and the nonprofit sector as a whole. This cutting-edge development experience will result in an enhanced ability for participants to lead with the self-awareness and collaborative leadership that creates the commitment needed for change and performance. Ultimately, this program will enable CEOs to achieve a higher level of effectiveness by learning from the industry experts and thought leaders and creating opportunities for strengthening relationships with peer CEOs in the program.
