Computer classes and technology tutoring continue to be available free to the public at Utica Public Library. Whether you are a Utica resident or not, all are welcome to participate.

· Computer Basics (April 7-8, 10:30 – 12:00)
This hands-on, two day course is designed for beginners who want to understand the basics of operating a computer. Students will learn computer terminology, how to use a mouse, create documents, manage files, and search the Internet.
· Introduction to Microsoft Word (April 14-15, 10:00 – 12:00)
We will be going over common tasks in Microsoft Word version 2010 including formatting text, modifying page layout, and line spacing.
In this three day class, students will expand your word processing skills by learning mail merge, arranging text with images, inserting hyperlinks, and screenshots.
· iPad Basics (April 29, 10:00 – 12:00)
This class will cover getting started with an iPad, using the touchscreen, managing and downloading apps, connecting to Wi-Fi, using the camera, and browsing the Web with Safari.
· Facebook Basics (April 30, 10:30 – 12:00)
Whether you already have an account or you are just curious about Facebook, come see what the hype is all about. We will be going over the layout, how to create posts, upload images, view privacy settings, and other common tasks on Facebook.
