Society for New Music “Sound Wandering”

The 104 acres of Stone Quarry Hill Art Park will serve as the physical canvas for the Society for New Music’s “Sound Wandering” on July 24th, 2016 presented by the Art Park’s Resident Artist Geoffrey Navias and composer Edward Ruchalski. Visitors are invited to explore the park by following and participating in the call of multiple musical instruments located throughout the park. This experience will allow visitors to hear and participate in the process of how sound is shaped by time, space and topography.
