The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is a movement to reclaim the future for millions. Walk to End Alzheimer’s will take place on April 24, 2016 at SUNY Polytechnic Institute. Hundreds of people from the Mohawk Valley are expected at this year’s event to raise awareness and funds to fight Alzheimer’s disease. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. with the opening ceremony starting at 1 p.m.Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s participants will complete a three-mile walk and will learn about Alzheimer’s disease, advocacy opportunities, clinical studies enrollment and support programs and services from the Alzheimer’s Association. Walk participants will also join in a meaningful tribute ceremony to honor those affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
