Natasha Austin of Canastota has been selected as the 2016 recipient of the Adam Beggs Campership. Issued by the non-profit organization Troop 160 Memorial Scout Camp, the Adam Beggs Campership is issued each year to a scout who exemplifies the spirit of friendliness that Adam Beggs did.Natasha is part of Girl Scout Troop 20142, and was recommended for the campership by her leader, Kristine Shane.
Troop 160 Memorial Scout Camp is a non-profit dedicated to promoting wilderness camping experiences, supporting the ideals and goals of the Worldwide Scouting Movement, and sponsoring community service.
Each year, the organization awards three camperships dedicated to the memory of Adam Beggs, Craig Goodwin, and Joe Beggs.
