State Police in Lysander arrested Salvatore Mannino, 23, of Brewerton, for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle without insurance and operating a vehicle with a suspended registration.
On April 13, a trooper was flagged down by a concerned citizen regarding a suspicious vehicle behind a business near the intersection of County Route 57 and Laurel Lane in Clay. When patrols arrived in the area, they observed a vehicle matching the description of the suspicious vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Salvatore Mannino, 23, of Brewerton, was subsequently arrested for illegal possession of 26 Xanax pills, operating a vehicle with a suspended registration, operating a vehicle without insurance and operating a vehicle with a suspended license.
Mannino was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Clay Town Court April 21 at 5 p.m.
