mobile_logoCORE Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the return of their community grant program for non-profit groups and organizations in Madison County.

CORE is giving back to the local community by offering $2,500 in community outreach grants. The grant program is designed for not-for-profit and community organizations located in or serving the Madison County community. Grant dollars will be awarded based on the needs of the organization applying, the programs’ projected impact on the community, and the number of requests received. In order to assist as many groups as possible, grants will be capped at a maximum donation of $1,000 to any one organization.

“As a not-for-profit financial cooperative ourselves, we recognize the challenges that many not-for-profit groups have in these difficult economic times, as well as the vital role that these organizations play in our community,” said CORE CEO Bill Sweeney. “We always look for ways to give back to the many high-quality organizations in the communities that we serve.”

Grant applications are at available online at www.core-fcu.com, or at CORE’s Morrisville office, located in the Big M Plaza. Applications should be returned to the credit union no later than May 13, 2016. Award recipients will be notified on or around May 30.
