John R. St. Denny of Bridgeport was inducted at St. Lawrence University into Sigma Gamma Epsilon, the national honor society for earth science.
St. Denny is a member of the class of 2018. He attended Cicero-North Syracuse High School.
Sigma Gamma Epsilon was established to recognize scholarship and professionalism in the earth sciences. Its focus is on the scholastic, scientific and professional advancement of its members as well as the extension of relations of friendship and assistance among colleges and universities devoted to the advancement of the earth sciences, including the Eta Xi chapter at St. Lawrence.
