On May 19, at approximately 11:29 p.m., State Police stopped to render aid to a disabled vehicle with a flat tire on I-87.
The driver of the vehicle, Michael J. Fifelski, 37, of New City, was found to be intoxicated. He was transported and processed at SP Tarrytown where his blood-alcohol content was determined to be 0.18 percent. He was subsequently charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor.
Fifelski was turned over to a sober third party and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Orangetown Court on June 7, 2016 at 9:30 a.m.
