Herkimer Generals Women’s Lacrosse Coach Dianna Ste-Marie was named Region 3 Co-Coach of the Year by her peers.
Ste-Marie has been head coach since 2007 led one of the best offenses in the nation, watching her team average 11.55 goals per game, which was the eighth most of any team. Helping the team to those totals was the ninth most draw controls (123) which averaged to 11.18 per game and a defense which allowed the fifth-least goals per game (11.00).
In her time at Herkimer, Ste-Marie has earned 2007 Region ‘C’ Coach of the Year and 2010 Coach of the Year, boasting a 52-54 overall record in 10 seasons.
“I’d like to thank all the coaches in the region for this acknowledgement,” said Ste-Marie. “It’s an honor to be recognized for the hard work I’ve put into this program.”
