On May 25 at approximately 9:20 p.m., Troopers responded to a one vehicle property damage accident on State Route 180 in the Town of Hounsfield, Oswego County. When Troopers arrived, they found a gray Jeep in a ditch with heavy front and side damage.
The driver, identified as Clifford Moulton III stated he was looking down when he crashed into a guardrail on the west shoulder causing his vehicle to land in the ditch.
State Police in Watertown arrested Clifford R. Moulton, III, 24, from 17874 County Route 90, Mannsville, for aggravated DWI, a class E felony (blood-alcohol content of .19 percent); first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a class E felony (previous DWI convictino within 10 years); and operating a motor vehicle without an interlock device, a class A misdemeanor.
He was arraigned in Hounsfield Town Court and remanded to the Oswego County Public Safety Building on $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bail bond.
