

On Friday, June 3, at approximately 8:30 p.m., State Police responded to the Waterfront Tavern, located at 6 State Route 11 in the Town of Hastings for a reported assault.
The investigation revealed a 69-year-old male was leaving the Waterfront Tavern when two males, later identified as Richard D. Boyle, 29, and Chad R. Burman, 31, followed the victim outside.
Uninvolved witnesses report seeing Boyle and Burman kicking and punching the victim in the parking lot.
The victim was treated and released for his physical injuries which included stitches over his eye.
Boyle, 29, from 111 Ronnell Drive, Syracuse; and Burman, 31, from 6204 Muskrat Bay Road, Cicero, were both charged with second-degree assault, a class D felony. Both were arraigned Hastings Town Court and remanded to the Oswego County Jail without bail.
