On Monday, June 6, at approximately 10:43 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on State Route 5 in the Village of Camillus for a seat belt violation.
The driver provided Troopers with a false name and date of birth. Further investigation at the scene revealed the driver was also in possession of marijuana and MDMA. The driver was transported to SP Elbridge where Troopers positively identified him as Kyjwuan Pringle, 26, of Auburn.
Pringle was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony; second-degree criminal impersonation, a class A misdemeanor; third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor; unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation; and several vehicle and traffic law violations.
Pringle was arraigned in Camillus Town Court and remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bail bond. He is scheduled to return to court June 9 at 4 p.m.
