506aff6374c5b64b0f0012ec._w.1500_s.fit_Children ages 6 and up are invited to join Ms. Jenna on Wednesday, July 6, at 1:30 p.m., in the Community Room for “Play With Your Food,” the first installment of the Summer Explorer Days program series. Each wonderful session is filled with fun and educational activities designed to keep children’s minds and bodies active all summer long.

In this first workshop, “Play With Your Food,” participants will explore the five senses in a variety of fun and creative ways. We will tease our taste buds with extreme flavors and even have the opportunity to build a S’mores-making machine! These activities will be accompanied by stories and art projects to delight all the senses.

Don’t miss out on the chance to break the rules and play with our food! Registration is required. Stop by the Library or call 655-9322 to reserve a spot.

Play games, read books, and explore art and science all summer long at the Library! Mark your calendar for these upcoming Explorer Days:

  • July 13: “The Art of Nature”
  • July 20: “Dance Party”
  • July 27: “Fairy Tale Festival”
  • Aug. 3: “Library Olympics”
  • Aug. 10: “Silly Sports”

For younger children: join Betsy Kennedy in the Story Garden at 6:30 p.m. for “Teddy Bear Stories.” Wear your pajamas, bring along your favorite stuffed animal, and enjoy an evening of soothing teddy bear-themed books, songs and rhymes.

All events at the Cazenovia Public Library are free and open to the public. For more information on these and other Library events, call 655-9322 or visit www.cazenoviapubliclibrary.org.
