slhs-smThe Town of Madison Historical Society is pleased to present Mishell Magnusson who will be speaking about the history of the village of Madison in recognition of its bicentennial. The presentation is on Monday, July 18 at 7 pm at the Town of Madison Historical Society building, 3606 South St, Madison.

Mishell is an author of a local central New York State historical book, “Images of America Madison and Hamilton” that has sold world-wide. The book will be available at the presentation. Due to her passion for history, Mishell was presented the Madison County Historical Society Volunteer of the Year award in 2013.

A member of the Madison County Historical Society, Limestone Ridge Historical Society, Chenango Canal Association and immediate past president of the Madison County Historical Society, Mishell will be a dynamic speaker and show one of a kind photos not published in her book.

Please plan to attend this interesting celebration of Madison’s bicentennial at the historical society. Refreshments will be served. This presentation is free to the public but donations are accepted. Call 315-729-8323 for more information or directions.
