On June 22 at approximately 2:15 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on Interstate 690 in the City of Syracuse for multiple vehicle and traffic law violations. Investigation at the scene revealed the operator and sole occupant,
Investigation at the scene revealed the operator and sole occupant, Kenneth R. Eaton, 34, of 330 N. Salina St., Syracuse, was in possession of a forged inspection certificate, bath salts, and Xanax without a valid prescription.
Eaton was taken into custody and charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor, displaying a forged certificate without inspection, a misdemeanor, and several vehicle and traffic law violations.
Eaton is scheduled to appear in Syracuse City Court June 30 at 9:30 a.m.
