Caz library(Cazenovia 2016) The Cazenovia Public Library will continue its Family Film Series Friday, July 15, with a free public screening of Finding Nemo (2003). The beloved animated comedy adventure film will be shown in the Community Room following a half hour craft time starting at 1:30 p.m.

In the depths of the Great Barrier Reef, Marlin (Albert Brooks), an overly protective clownfish, embarks on a daring mission to rescue his abducted son, Nemo. Alongside a forgetful blue tang named Dory (Ellen DeGeneres), Marlin journeys across the ocean to Sydney Harbour, encountering many dangers and several comedic characters along the way. Meanwhile, trapped in a dentist’s fish tank, Nemo and his fellow sea creatures plot their escape.

Finding Nemo is rated G and runs 100 minutes. Popcorn will be provided.

Head to the Library before the movie for a special ocean-themed craft time with Ms. Jenna. Participants will have the chance to get creative and have some fun building their own sea creatures out of modeling clay.

Mark your calendars for the other great films in this series:

  • July 22: Harry Potter & the Sorcerer’s Stone
  • Aug. 5: Space Jam
  • Aug. 12: A League of their Own
