The first “Stay Connected” Teen Suicide Prevention 5K Walk/Run, held Sunday, May 22, 2016, raised more than $3,500 for the Boys & Girls Club of the North Country SoZo Teen Center, 171 Polk St., Watertown. The event focused on awareness of reducing the risk of teen suicide, activities to help families “stay connected,” and Teen Center programs aimed at ensuring brighter and more productive futures for youth in our community.
