The Greater Oneida Chamber of Commerce has named Gates-Cole Insurance Business of the Month for July.
Gates-Cole got its start many years ago when Eugene Cole of Nationwide and Ed Gates of Gallinger and Gates Agency merged to form the company that is now called Gates-Cole Insurance. As the years have passed, Gates-Cole Insurance has upheld the tradition of protecting central New Yorkers and providing for their insurance needs.
Today, with ten locations to choose from, 40+ licensed agents, 100 carriers represented and over 400 years of combined experience, there is almost nothing Gates-Cole Insurance can’t help you protect. Gates-Cole Insurance has evolved in the last 40 years to expand its expertise in insuring local towns, villages, municipalities, fire districts and other public entities that serve the public. It also has developed the expertise in protecting business owners with extensive commercial insurance products.
Gates-Cole Insurance is an integral part of the Oneida community, sponsoring various little league teams and local events such as the United Way Kickoff Luncheon, the Chamber Distinguished Service Award Dinner and the VVS Community Day. They also serve on various boards and are members of Oneida Rotary and the Chamber of Commerce.
Bill Cole, President, and Tom Cole, Vice President, credit the people who work at Gates-Cole with building the company into what it is today. Their employees are dedicated not only to the company’s success and to protecting their clients, but to actively serving the communities in which they work.
