“I commend the Town of Owego who undertook the effort, on their own, to raise the money and put in place a fitting memorial to the attacks of September 11th in commemoration of the 15th anniversary. Islamic terror and terrorists are a real and present danger to American security – then and now. While reasonable people can always quibble with wording there is no parsing the facts: radical Islamic terrorists whether they be ISIS or al Qaeda have declared war on America – we must call our enemy by their name and not shrink from the hard truth. We need to all stand together -Christians, Jews and Muslims to eradicate this evil perversion of Islam. I stand with the Town of Owego,” Martin Babinec.
