Candidate for Congress Kim Myers (NY-22) stressed the importance of renewable energy to the Upstate New York economy during a tour of the Fenner Wind Farm and Renewable Energy Education Center, and the Madison County Landfill. She toured both facilities Thursday with Senator David Valesky.
Myers said “My priority is affordable, reliable energy for families and businesses. Like the Wind Farm and the Landfill, we need to partner with communities to invest in clean energy to give them the tools and resources they need. This commitment will make us less dependent on foreign oil, make the U.S. economy more competitive, and create jobs; jobs that can’t be outsourced and sent overseas.”
