The New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation based in Lysander announce the arrest of Mollie C. Pierce, 39, of Syracuse, on several felony-level charges including Identity Theft and Grand Larceny.
At the time of the offense, Pierce was working as a home health aide and is accused of stealing checks and using the credit card of her elderly patient, resulting in a loss in excess of $20,000.
As a result of this investigation, Pierce was charged in three different jurisdictions for crimes relative to this investigation:
Geddes Town Court:
1 Count Grand larceny 3rd Degree a “D” Felony
1 Count Identity Theft First Degree “D” Felony
Solvay Village Court:
1 Count Petit Larceny
Syracuse City Court:
1 Count Grand Larceny 3rd Degree “D” Felony
30 Counts Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree “D” Felony
Pierce is currently being held by Onondaga County Correctional Facility
