Utica Public Library is excited to welcome back Tim Collins, a performer whose powerful one-man shows are an honest portrayal of serious and timely issues affecting children and teenagers. On Tuesday, September 27 at 6:00pm, Tim will perform “To Be Honest (TBH).”

Created in conjunction with violence prevention agencies, TBH is an exciting, multi-character, educational show that depicts students confronted by cyberbullying. The play addresses a range of issues including Cyberbullying Prevention, Bystander Intervention, and the impact of Texting and Social Media on friendships and intimate relationships.

Utilizing contemporary language and trending topics, TBH is an engaging, thought-provoking, and memorable program for middle and high school students, educators, parents and caregivers and anyone interested in the health, safety and success of our community’s youth.

Following the show, Tim will lead a Q&A session to discuss issues brought up within the play. Since 2000, Tim Collins has toured educational one-man shows to venues across the country, including colleges, high schools, libraries, youth detention centers, military bases, and the Oneida Indian Nation.

More information about Tim’s shows, including photos, video clips and reviews can be found at www.timecollinsonline.com. More information about this, and other, programs at the Utica Public Library can be found at www.uticapubliclibrary.org and www.facebook.com/TheLibrary.UticaPublicLibrary.
