Retirement Solutions is pleased to announce they will be presenting a one-hour education program called, “Making the Most of Social Security,” taking place at the Cazenovia Public Library at 7 PM on Tuesday, September 27th.

The program was developed in response to America’s looming retirement crisis and is designed to help pre-retirees (ages 55-70) learn how to maximize their Social Security benefits prior to receiving them. Attendees will have the opportunity to get answers to some of the most frequently asked questions as well as learn about:

  • Valuable claiming strategies for married couples, divorcees, widows and singles
  • The impact of longevity on today’s retirement
  • How your Social Security impacts your spouse
  • How to “Get Paid to Wait” with Social Security
  • Understanding the impact of COLA (Cost of Living Adjustments)

The program is being presented by John N. Kalil, Jr., President of Retirement Solutions, LLC. Mr. Kalil is a frequent guest speaker on the subject of Social Security retirement benefits. He often gives similar presentations at public libraries throughout the Mohawk Valley, Capital and Saratoga Regions of New York State. In addition, Mr. Kalil’s financial planning background makes him distinctly qualified, drawing upon over 20 years of professional experience working with retirees and understanding the many challenges they face.

The program is open to the public and is free to attend. Seating is limited. Please RSVP with the Cazenovia Public Library at (315) 655-9322.
