Caz libraryCelebrate the magic of learning and discovery with Curious George and The Man with the Yellow Hat! The Cazenovia Public Library invites children and their families to the Community Room on Saturday, September 17th, at 10:30 am for “Curiosity Day,” a special event held in honor of the 75th anniversary of H.A. Rey’s classic story Curious George. Children’s Programming Coordinator Jenna Wright Martin will lead participants in a morning of stories, crafts, and activities inspired by the adventures of everyone’s favorite monkey.

Curious George was published by Houghton Mifflin in 1941. Since his debut, the mischievous monkey George has become one of the most beloved and recognizable characters of children’s literature. The Curious George books have sold more than 75 million copies worldwide, and the original story has never been out of print (http://www.curiousgeorge.com/curiosity-day).

Curiosity plays a crucial role in lifelong learning. For seventy-five years George has inspired imagination and a sense of adventure in children and adults alike. In this fun-filled program, families will have the opportunity to participate in a host of activities designed to nurture an inquisitive spirit and promote a love of reading.

All events at the Cazenovia Public Library are free and open to the public. For more information on this and other Library events, call 655-9322 or visitwww.cazenoviapubliclibrary.org.
