Tuesday, September 27th at 10:30am – Story Time
Story Time for babies, toddlers, and their caregivers is held in the children’s story room, led by Early Childhood Educator, Hilary Virgil. Story Time for preschoolers will be held in the community room and led by guest reader Maureen Wallace. Story Time is held every Tuesday from mid-September through July, unless otherwise closed for a holiday or emergency.
Thursday, September 29th from 2:30-4pm – “Color Yourself Peaceful” Adult Coloring Workshop
Adult coloring enthusiast Midge Herrick will provide workshop attendees with all the supplies needed to start coloring. She will also share tips and tricks for mastering this relaxing hobby! Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Library.
Thursday September 29th at 6:00pm – An Evening with WWII Veteran Bill Gallick
The Hamilton Public Library will host a special interview by Madison County Historian Matthew Urtz with WWII veteran Bill Gallick. Gallick was the Captain of two Naval ships during WWII including a sub chaser on the eastern seaboard. There is no charge for this event. Refreshments will be provided by the Hamilton Public Library.

Don't forget to stop by the Bookstore on Saturday, September 24, when they are hosting a special Hamilton Public Library Day– -donating 13% of all sales back to our local Library. This is a great opportunity to stock up on books, games, gifts, you name it! We’re kicking the day off together with The Very Hungry Caterpillar story time at 10:30am at the Colgate Bookstore featuring two special guests – Cathi Brewer as a guest reader from the Library, and the Hungry Caterpillar himself will also make an appearance! Story time will be followed by snacks, games, and crafts. This event is free, and open to children of all ages.
