On Oct. 12, 2016, at approximately 8:13 p.m., State Police in Sylvan Beach conducted a traffic stop on Rome-Taberg Road in the City of Rome.
The investigation revealed a passenger in the vehicle, 25-year-old, Kari R. Myers, of 5165 Lee Valley Road, Rome, was in possession of oxycodone pills and dextroamphetamine pills without a prescription.
Myers was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class “A” misdemeanor; and two counts of possession of a controlled substance in a non-original container, a violation.
Myers was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Rome City Court Oct. 25, 2016, at 9 a.m.
