State Police announce the arrest of Daniel K. Youngs, 45, of 111 Moody Lane, Poland, for the following:
- First-degree rape, a class B felony;
- First-degree criminal sex act, a class B felony; and
- First-degree sex abuse, a class D felony,.
Youngs was charged following a lengthy investigation by State Police, The Herkimer County District Attorney’s Office and the Herkimer County Child Advocacy Center. The investigation revealed Youngs committed sex crimes against multiple child victims over the course of 11 years, from 2004 through 2015.
Youngs was arraigned in Herkimer County Court and remanded to the Herkimer County Jail without bail. He is scheduled to appear back in court Nov. 18, 2016, at 8:30 a.m.
