Former District Attorney Mike Daley guest speaker at Rotary meeting
Former District Attorney Mike Daley was guest speaker at the October 25 meeting of the Mohawk Valley Rotary Club, and spoke on how as a DA he could solve the different problems facing Herkimer County.
“I am going to give you a snapshot of how I can help the Mohawk Valley,” Daley said. “It may surprise you what is happening around the County but if we work together we can make change.”
Daley presented on the effects of the prison population in Herkimer County, and offered alternative ideas on how to help with this issue to keep tax dollars in Herkimer County. Daley also spoke on public safety being a priority, stated that he would work together with various organizations to maintain a safe community.
Mike was elected and served as Herkimer County District Attorney from January 1993 to January 2002.
