The National Soccer Coaches Association of America announced its All-Region Teams Thursday, naming seniors Alan Peckham (Webster) and Joe Sheehan (Liverpool) to its second and third team, respectively.

Peckham started in 18 games for the Mustangs at center back and controlled the back line for Morrisville State.

On the year he posted one goal and three assists and took charge of the defensive unit that limited opponents to a .105 shot percentage and 22 goals on the year, along with a 1.10 goals against average.

Peckham, a four-time All-Conference selection at defense, is a three-time first team selection to the Division III ECAC North All-Star Team, including in 2016. He wraps up his career with a second honor from the NSCAA, having earned second team Mid-Atlantic All-Region accolades as a sophomore.

Sheehan, a first team North Eastern Athletic Conference selection, led Morrisville State in scoring this season from his forward position, netting 19 goals and assisting seven for 45 points.

In all but four games on the year, Sheehan posted at least one point as he led the high-powered offensive unit that averaged 3.75 goals per game to rank third overall in all of Division III in goals scored, and fourth in points per game (9.95).

The two-time All-Conference selection was named the NEAC Offensive Player of the Week, ECAC North Player of the Week and NSCAA Player of the Week Oct. 18.

A 2014 ECAC Second Team selection and 2016 First Team honoree, Sheehan earns NSCAA All-Region honors for the first time in his collegiate career, joining an elite group of Mustangs who have received the accolade.

Sheehan wrapped up his final season as the top-ranked player in the conference in goals scored (19) and points (45), ranked second in assists (7), and second in game-winning goals (6).

He ranks 10th overall in Division III in goals scored and points, while ranking 14th in game-winning tallies, goals per game, and 15th in points per game.
