state-police-seal-150x150State Police in Fulton are investigating a two-car fatal crash that occurred on County Route 57, south of Hoag Drive in the Town of Schroeppel, Oswego County.

At approximately 9:37 am, A 2006 Chevrolet Malibu, operated by Jakob D. Robinson, age 18, from Phoenix, was traveling northbound on County Route 57 when he appears to have lost control of the vehicle on the snow-covered roadway. The vehicle crossed over to the southbound lane and was struck by a 2012 Buick Lacrosse, operated by 77 year-old, John W. Spencer of Fulton.

The front seat passenger in Robinson’s vehicle, Morgan A. Stoutenger, age 18 of Liverpool, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Robinson was transported to SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse as is listed in critical condition. John Spencer was transported to SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse with non-life threatening injuries. A passenger in his car, Jean M. Spencer, age 74, was transported to SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse with a leg injury.

The investigation is continuing.
