Assemblyman Al Stirpe (D-Cicero) organized a series of town hall meetings to talk with Central New York residents about the latest developments in this year’s state budget and discuss other important issues.
“These meetings help me connect with local residents and hear their concerns one-on-one,” Stirpe said. “It has become a tradition of mine to hold these briefings so I can gather feedback to fight on behalf of my constituents during the budget negotiation process.”
Stirpe held the meetings in Fabius, Liverpool, Fayetteville and Brewerton, giving residents from all parts of the 127thAssembly District the opportunity to attend. Participants were briefed on how the budget process works, where state generated funds are apportioned and how the financial plan can benefit residents of Central New York.
