Mohawk Valley Rotary Club and Little Falls Rotary members come together for President- Elect Training Leadership conference-“People of Action” in Syracuse. These woman of action Francesca Magro and Wendy Mucica attended the PETS training over the weekend and had the opportunity to meet with incoming International Rotary President Ian Riseley.
Riseley says that meaningful partnerships with corporations and other organizations are crucial to Rotary’s future.“We have the programs and personnel and others have available resources,” says Riseley. “Doing good in the world is everyone’s goal. We must learn from the experience of the polio eradication program to maximize our public awareness exposure for future partnerships.”
District conference gives Rotarians a chance to meet new friends, hear inspirational stories, and learn more about Rotary International. If you are looking to make a difference in our community visit Little Falls and Mohawk Valley Rotary Facebook pages.
