Listen, lounge and lunch with us Saturday, April 8, for our last Jazz at Noon of the season. Things are (finally) starting to spring to life, and our upcoming celebration promises to be full of life. Just step downstairs into the cozy, atmospheric nightclub called The Palace Underground a Hamilton hot-spot, and birthplace of our tremendously popular Jazz at Noon series. Better mark your calendars now, because Saturday, April 8, from noon to 2 p.m. will be our final date of the season — and it is one you will not want to miss.
This month, trumpeter/host Jim McDowell will present (all the way from the Kingston area) super-gifted guitarist Ken McGloin, and bring back that crazy awesome Oneonta bassist, Rich Mollin. As always, Dianne Adams McDowell will join the party; and we have some very special guests, as well — the young & talented Mason McDowell (home before college graduation) will croon to us.
And guess who’s s returning to Jazz at Noon? That spectacular performer with a list of Broadway credits longer than Central New York winters — Direct from the premiere of the play Relativity with Richard Dreyfuss, and her Broadway run in Fiddler on the Roof – the fun & fabulous Lori Wilner.
If you are feeling hungry, Chartwells will (once again) be working their culinary magic in the kitchen – creating a savory lunch & delectable dessert. So on Saturday, April 8, put some spring in your step, and meet your friends at The Palace Underground to listen, lounge and lunch with Jazz at Noon.
Many thanks to our sponsor, Chobani, and to you for your continued support. Free admission / $5 suggested donation. Lunch is available for purchase.
