State Police in Morrisville arrested 62-year-old Richard F. Easterly of Cazenovia for first-degree robbery, a class B felony.
On Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at approximately 11:45 a.m., Richard F. Easterly entered the Valero Gas Station located on State Route 20 in Morrisville, displayed a shotgun and demanded money from the clerk then fled the scene in his vehicle.
Easterly then returned to the scene of the crime to turn himself into State Police; he was taken into custody without incident.
Easterly was arraigned in Morrisville Village Court and remanded to the Madison County Jail on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bail bond.
State Police were assisted at the scene by university police at Morrisville State College and the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.
