This June, the Utica Public Library will host its fourth annual “Through My Eyes” Photography Contest for adults aged 18 and up.
To register for the contest, simply bring your entry to the main lobby Friday, May 26, starting at 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. The first 70 entries will comprise the contest. Cash prizes will be awarded in the following seven categories: Best of Show, Best Striking Use of Color, Best Social Commentary, Best Portrait, Best Architectural, Best Nature and Best Black-and-White.
All details and rules are available in the main lobby of the library and on the library website. Entries that are not wall display ready (can be hung from a nail), will not be accepted. Winners’ reception will be held Tuesday, June 20, at 6:30 p.m., and category cash prizes will be handed out at that time.
