Herkimer College will host a presentation, Mental Health: Know the Facts, No Stigma Thursday, April 27, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Robert McLaughlin College Center, room 288.
The presentation addresses mental health trends and suicide–the second leading cause of death among college students. Anisa Diab, a licensed counselor, describes warning signs and ways to support someone struggling with mental health concerns. Resources for fighting mental health stigma and finding support will also be provided.
