The Herkimer County Chamber of Commerce is getting ready for this year’s Small Business Showcase, which is set for May 4 at Herkimer College.
This event will feature more than 30 business vendors including companies that are hiring. These businesses vary in lines of trade, from banking, non-for-profit, insurance, health services, travel and tourism just to name a few.
In addition to the showcase, attendees will have the chance to network with area business owners and find new vendors and service providers.
“Connecting companies with the community is the goal of this event, the Herkimer County Chamber focuses on promoting business growth, community prosperity and quality of life,” said John Scarano, executive director of the Herkimer County Chamber of Commerce. “The event hours are noon to 4:30 p.m. May 4 at Herkimer College and will feature established business members, as well as welcoming new companies.
“Admission is free to attend. All attendees will have opportunities to win prizes from exhibitors as well as the Chamber’s main prize a lottery ticket tree. Attendees will enjoy a fun, high-energy event, it’s the perfect setting for making great business connections.”
